CLEAVAGE - The hollow between a woman’s breasts, accentuated by low-cut tops.

CRISS CROSS - Overlapping lines or paths that create an intersecting design.

CURVY - Refers to a body shape with a waist that is 10 or more inches smaller than the bust and hips.

DEMI CUP - An underwire bra-style top with partial coverage, revealing the top of the bust.

FISHNET - Flexible, net-like fabric with diamond-shaped spaces, typically made from polyester or nylon.

FULL COVERAGE - Bottoms that cover the entire buttocks.

GAUZE - A lightweight, airy cotton fabric with a slightly crinkled texture, also known as baby muslin.

GLISSENETTE - Lightweight, shimmery, semi-sheer mesh fabric.

HALTER - A top that ties at the neck and back, leaving shoulders and upper back bare.

HIGH CUT - Bottoms with higher leg openings, creating the illusion of longer legs.

HIGH WAISTED - Bottoms that sit at or just below the natural waist.

PUSH-UP PADS - Removable foam inserts in a hidden pocket to lift and shape the bust.

RECYCLED FABRIC - Swimwear fabric created from recovered fibers or yarn through textile recycling.

REMOVABLE PADDING - Thin molded cups in a hidden pocket, offering shape and coverage.

RIBBON - Wide strings used for tying to adjust fit.

RISE - The measurement from the crotch seam to the top edge of the bottoms, front or back.

SHEER WHEN WET - Fabric that becomes transparent when wet.

SHIRRED - Fabric gathered with elastic threads in parallel rows.

SPAGHETTI - Thin strings used on swimsuits for adjustable ties.

SPANDEX - Also known as Lycra or elastane, a synthetic fiber blended with nylon or polyester for elasticity.
